Mallory Hagan won the Las Vegas beauty pageant Saturday night after tap dancing to James Brown's "Get Up Off of That Thing" and answering a question about whether armed guards belong in grade schools by saying we should not fight violence with violence. Hagan defeated Miss South Carolina Ali Rogers, who took second, and Miss Oklahoma Alicia Clifton, who finished third. Hagan wins a $50,000 college scholarship and gets the crown for one year. Her platform was stopping child $exual abuse. She is expected to spend her title reign on a nationwide speaking tour and raising money for the Children's Miracle Network, the organization's official charity.

Kim Kardashian and her pal Jonathan Cheban got a nasty surprise in Miami when an overexcited paparazzo accidentally ran into the pair while trying to get a photograph of Kim and her baby bump.
“They were eating at Serafina and then heading to The Webster when Jonathan got hit by a paparazzi. He was heard saying, ‘She's pregnant. Watch the baby, Kim,'” says an insider who was present when everything went down. “You could tell they were both upset, particularly Jonathan. Kim is used to being followed by photographs, but since the baby announcement she has become the most photographed person in America.”
Kim was photographed trying on a lot of clothes, and picking out sizes that were larger than normal.
“As the birth of the baby gets closer and closer, we should all expect to see less of Kim out and about,” one friend reveals. “It is going to be safer for her and the baby to just stay home.”
